Hospital Tour

Tonight, Allen, JoAnn and I went on a hospital tour at Good Sam. It was really nice to see everything beforehand and I am very excited that Al, the baby & I will have our own room in the hospital. The tour was informative and a bit overwhelming, as I realize that this means that we are truly in the "home stretch" of the pregnancy.

While we were on the tour, we ran into a couple that was checking into the hospital. The woman's husband marched past us and said "this is not a drill!"--he looked much more nervous than she did!

Next on the agenda for us is the breastfeeding class (Tuesday night) and I have heard from a number of people that this class should be pretty helpful. I have my 32 week appointment with Dr. Reimnitz on Thursday and we will be reviewing my x-rays and discussing my anesthesia options. I'm pretty sure that I will start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now, and am a bit nervous about stepping on the scale--I feel pretty large these days! :)
